Milngavie Golf club held its inaugural Junior Open Golf Competition recently. The event proved to be a huge success with competitors coming from all over the district. The prizewinners (pictured left to right) were:

Chris McKeown (Milngavie) - lowest scratch score
Kirstin Scott (Milngavie) - best girl's score
Olly McPhee (Windyhill) - 3rd place higher handicap section
Greg Balfour (Douglas Park) - Milngavie Junior Open Trophy Winner
Scott Sutherland (Windyhill) - 2nd place higher handicap section
Jamie Hart (Clober) - 2nd place lower handicap section
Ross Baillie (Milngavie) - winner of the higher handicap section.

The trophy for this new competiton was most kindly donated by Club Captain David Blair to mark his year in office.
