Milngavie GC ladies have just been crowned Champions of the 2nd Division in the Greenlees (Scratch) League. That means our 2 Ladies teams have done the double - AGAIN, with the Allander (handicap) team winning their league. We both won our leagues last year too.

Here is the results of yesterday's Greenlees home match against Bothwell Castle - Milngavie 8 Bothwell Castle 1. Great Result.

It now depends on the result from the West Kilbride vs Whitecraigs whether we will be "Top of the League".

An update on the Ladies' Greenlees team. We had a very good away win against Cowglen (5-4) and followed that up with an excellent 7-2 win against Cardross at home last Monday. (Special thanks to Moira MacLeod who stepped in at the last minute AND won her match) We now approach our last home match, against Bothwell Castle with a very real chance of winning the Division. Even finishing in 2nd place will gain us promotion back to the 1st Division, but fingers crossed that we finish as Champions.

The result of yesterday's Greenlees match at Milngavie is, Milngavie 7 - Cardross 2.  Yet another win for Milngavie ladies!!!

Below is a table of the Greenlees Team results to date.  We have our next match on Wednesday 13th August against Cowglen and then finish with two home games against Cardross and Bothwell Castle.
 
We were promoted to the 2nd division this year, and, fingers crossed, we are doing quite well.
