Just Champion!
There were 4 girls from Milngavie GC taking part in the Junior Girls Inter Club County Finals held at Hilton Park on Sunday, August 24th. Each of them had qualified to play in this competition by winning one of the 12 medals held over different courses during the summer.
Alex Mennie was 4th in the 9 hole competition which is for girls without a handicap. Alex played really well and was in contention for the winner's spot until she got into trouble at the last hole and ran up a 9.

In the 18 hole competition, Catherine Elderfield and Eilidh Macaulay struggled a little but should be proud of their achievement in qualifying for the Final.

Star of the show was Robyn Michie who stole all the plaudits by scoring a nett 69 and winning the Handicap trophy. This will reduce Robyn's handicap yet again (to 24) and it rounds off a very successful season for the 13 year old.
